N-and Group, a leading company in the development of digital technologies for human–machine interaction, announces the opening of a new site in Ivrea (TO), within the historic former Olivetti complex — a symbolic place of Italian industry and design worldwide. The new site will host a research and development team dedicated to embedded solutions, with the goal of accelerating the design and delivery of new technology platforms for the markets in which the Group operates.
The new hub is the result of a strategic agreement with AVNET Silica, through which N-and has integrated a highly specialized embedded development team. The site is located within C.NEXT Ivrea, an innovation hub established inside the Officine ICO, a landmark of industrial regeneration that blends historical heritage with a technological vision of the future. N-and’s entry into the NExT Innovation® System Framework ecosystem further strengthens the Group’s strategy toward models of open and collaborative innovation.
A strategic investment in the region and in people
With this initiative, N-and consolidates its presence in Italy, already represented by the manufacturing site in Pognano (BG) and the main headquarters of N-and embedded in the province of Como, reinforcing the research, development, and production value chain. The new Ivrea team will focus on designing next-generation embedded platforms for products and solutions that combine design, connectivity, and software.
