N-and launches a new SMARC 2.1 Carrier Board tailored to any Computer on Module with Intel Processors

SMARC 2.1 Carrier Board is the new addition to our NViPi Platform range.

The new SMARC 2.1 Carrier Board is a ready-to-use platform, cost-efficiently deployable in many applications including HMI systems, infotainment Kiosks, gaming systems, automatic retail, IoT-gateways, transportation, and industrial automation, to cite a few.

It is optimized for low power x86 generations Intel processors. Its slot for SMARC 2.1 computer on module provides a socket for independent scalability.

It also features audio codec, USB-C, USB-3.0, multiple display connections and several embedded interfaces.

Features set in detail:

  • Size-optimized. Measuring 169x85mm, a very small footprint ideal for stationary applications.
  • 1xGbE, 1x USB 3.0, 5x USB2.0, 1x RS232, 1x Type-C with PD
  • A mPCIe slot as well as an M.2 Type E E2230 slot with I2S and USB are available for custom expansions,
  • integrated NanoSim slot for IoT connection
  • Specific embedded interfaces such as CAN, RS485, RS232 and 12x GPIO.
  • Displays can be connected via LVDS/eDP and DP.
  • Supports an extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
